Dry Type Transformers
Line and Load Reactors
Load reactors are generally used with motors circuits (load side of a motor drive), while line reactors are used in power distribution (line side of a drive). The reason line/load inductors can limit current is based on a principle known as reactance.
Epoxy Resin Cast Transformers
Cast resin dry type transformers are used in high moisture areas. It is because its primary and secondary windings are encapsulated with epoxy resin (non hygroscopic). The encapsulation prevents moisture from penetrating the winding. Available power 25 KVA to 12,500 KVA.
Ultra Isolation Transformer
The Ultra Isolation Transformers are specially designed for sensitive critical equipment like computers & peripherals, medical instrumentation, digital communication telemetry systems, CNC Machines etc. and stopping such disturbances generated by the noisy equipment load from being injected into the power line. Multiple shielding techniques employed reduce the inter winding capacitance to below 0.005 Pico farad and increase D.C Isolation to over 1000 Megohms.
Auto Transformer
An autotransformer is an electrical transformer with only one winding. The "auto" (Greek for "self") prefix refers to the single coil acting alone. In an autotransformer, portions of the same winding act as both the primary winding and secondary winding sides of the transformer.
Low Voltage Transformer
A low voltage transformer converts the main power supply voltage to a lower voltage, usually 12-15 volts. Detuned Reactor
Detuned reactors are used as power factor correction chokes. They create more defined network conditions by avoiding undefined resonance increases through attuning the series oscillator circuit to a non-critical frequency. Detuned reactors feature low inductance tolerance.
Lightning Transformer
Lighting transformers are, just as the name implies, transformers that are specifically utilized to work with lighting. They are typically referred to as dimmer switches. By using the ability of a transformer to alter the voltage going through a circuit, a light can be made brighter or dimmer.
